Expert Water Extraction in Portland, OR

Standing water moves fast. It soaks into subfloors, wicks up drywall, and saturates insulation before you can see the full extent of the damage. ClearSky Restoration LLC removes standing and trapped water from Portland-area homes using industrial extraction equipment, reaching moisture that mops and consumer vacuums leave behind. We serve homeowners, tenants, and property managers across Portland, Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, Clackamas, Oregon City, Tigard, Tualatin, Troutdale, Fairview, Wilsonville, and Salem. Portland's wet winters and combined sewer systems put basements, crawl spaces, and lower-level rooms at real risk from heavy rain events and plumbing failures. Our process starts with a full moisture assessment to map where water has traveled, not just where it pooled. We then extract standing water, pull moisture from carpets, padding, and porous materials, and set up structural drying equipment to protect walls and framing. Every step is handled with the compassionate, clear communication ClearSky Restoration is known for. Call us when water appears so we can get to work.

FAQ

Water Extraction FAQ

Common questions about water extraction in Portland, OR.

Do I really need professional water extraction, or can I handle it myself?

Professional extraction removes moisture from inside walls, subfloors, and porous materials that household equipment cannot reach. Homes in Portland with water left behind in those areas are at high risk for mold and structural damage.

What areas does ClearSky Restoration serve for water extraction?

ClearSky Restoration serves Portland, Beaverton, Gresham, Hillsboro, Lake Oswego, Clackamas, Oregon City, Tigard, Tualatin, Troutdale, Fairview, Wilsonville, and Salem. Call us to confirm service for your specific address.

What happens during a water extraction visit in Gresham or Beaverton?

A technician first assesses the full scope of water migration using moisture meters, then removes standing water with industrial extraction equipment. After bulk water is cleared, drying equipment is placed to pull moisture from walls, flooring, and structural materials.

Can water extraction help if my Portland basement flooded from a sewer backup?

Yes, water extraction applies to basement flooding from sewer backups, which are common in Portland neighborhoods connected to combined sewer systems. The water category affects how the affected area is handled, so let us assess the situation directly.

How do I know if water has spread beyond what I can see in my Hillsboro or Tigard home?

Moisture meters and thermal imaging reveal water that has traveled into walls, under flooring, and into cavities not visible to the eye. ClearSky Restoration uses this assessment at the start of every extraction job.

Who does ClearSky Restoration help with water extraction?

ClearSky Restoration works with homeowners, tenants, and property managers across the Portland metro area. Whether you own the property or manage it for others, we handle the extraction process with the same care and quality.

I had a great experience with ClearSky Restoration. They were responsive, professional, and thorough from start to finish. The team took the time to explain what needed to be done, documented the work clearly, and made sure everything was completed properly. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and communication throughout the process.
